Although Patong doesn’t have its own airport, you can fly to Phuket Airport (HKT), which is located 24 km from Patong. Phuket Airport is the most popular, with regular flights from AirAsia, Malaysia Airlines, Firefly and other airlines departing from Malaysia. The shortest flight to Patong from Malaysia departs from Penang and takes around 1h 05m.

Another option to get to Patong is to pick up a car hire from Phuket City, which is about 10 km from Patong. You’ll find branches of Yesaway and ASAP Car Rentals, among others, in Phuket City.
