It was so bad experience they wanted just charged passengers for any reason.
Boarding process was poor and slow. Should fill the plane up from the back like other good airlines
Everything was what we had hoped for. Thank you
Early flight was great. Naps, movie and into Mexico with time left in the first day.
We booked Premiere (their version of first class) and Premium Economy seats. We boarded an old swoop flight with all coach seating. No benefit to paying higher fare and no apology or reimbursement.
Delta was great. West Jet was not. I booked my flight in Sept (well over two months ago), but was told there were 2 reservations and NO tickets for me, my husband and 16mo daughter. We were unable to go ahold of West Jet over the phone and the kiosk was unhelpful so we had to buy completely new tickets in order to get home that day. I’ve called West Jet twice since and sat on the phone for over an hour without speaking to any representatives

WestJet is a low-cost carrier that strives to deliver affordable travel both throughout Canada and across the world. It flies to more than 25 countries, which are spread across North America, Central America, Europe and the Caribbean. Budget-conscious vacationers make up a significant section of the customer base, with services to the Caribbean and southern American states available.
The primary base of the airline is in Toronto, with the hub responsible for more daily departures than any other location. It also serves as the most common link to the United Kingdom and Europe. WestJet also operates out of hubs in Calgary and Vancouver.
WestJet Encore, WestJet Link and Swoop are subsidiaries of the larger carrier. The Encore airline focuses on regional services, while Link aims to connect smaller Canadian cities with primary airports. Swoop is an ultra-low-cost airline that is based in Hamilton.
While they are not part of a specific airline alliance, a joint venture partnership is in place with Delta Air Lines as well as numerous codeshare agreements.
