Since commencing operations in 2011, Camair-Co has developed a strong network of flights within the Central Africa region. Based in Douala and flying as Cameroon’s national flag carrier, the airline reaches more than five locations across the country. It is solely owned by the Government of Cameroon.
Services are also available to neighboring countries, which include Gabon, Central African Republic, Chad, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Benin, and Senegal. Camair-Co plays a major role in linking these nations and serves a mix of both business and vacation travelers. Nonstop flights are scheduled for France, offering an integral connection between Europe and Central Africa.
A combination of Boeing, de Havilland, and Xian aircraft are flown. The wide-body Boeing 767-300ER model is one of the largest in the fleet and is regularly used for long-haul flights, such as those to France. The planes can seat approximately 211 passengers. Smaller aircraft like the dual-propeller Xian MA60 are preferred for domestic services within Cameroon. The fleet is decorated with the colors of the Cameroon flag: green, yellow and red. A yellow star pattern can be seen at the bottom of the tail, matching the star of unity present on the flag.
You can choose between Economy and Business Class when flying with Camair-Co. In addition to access to VIP lounges at specific airports, Business Class passengers can relax into soft leather seats onboard. All customers are permitted a piece of cabin baggage weighing no more than 10 kg (approximately 22 lb). Checked luggage is only complimentary on international flights and is capped at 28 kg (61 lb).
