Pros:Location was excellent. The concierge was most helpful with concert tickets, directions, and a recommendation for a great restaurant. Very nice breakfast. All staff I dealt with was very helpful.

Pros:The staff were helpful. When I was told by the breakfast lady that breakfast wasn't included in my room & I showed her proof that it was & she wasn't honoring it, the front desk manager corrected the error
Cons:The black out curtains in the room, facing the bright street were broken

Pros:I am picky and spoiled when it comes to hotels. I stayed in an executive room for three nights here and it exceeded my expectations and rivaled some of the most luxurious, expensive hotel rooms I have stay in -- and at a small fraction of the price!! The hotel is a short walk to everything, a train station is less than a block away, and a tram runs right out the front door. When you first enter the hotel, the lobby is deceiving because it is small, worn and, dated. Enter you room and wow! The upgrade to the executive room is well worth it. It was exquisitely appointed, spacious and luxurious with a powder room and separate full bathroom. L'Occtaine toiletries were a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was exceptional. The room was quiet. The breakfast spread in the hotel's famous restaurant was excellent. I am glad I booked the room with the breakfast option. It was very well worth it. Bottom line: I doubt I will ever find a better value anywhere in the world any time soon.
Cons:The lobby needs updating.
