I had three days left on a two week trip to spend in London but since my flight out was early morning I chose this hotel, which is literally a 2 minute walk from the North Terminal at Gatwick. It's definitely an airport hotel, there's no easy walking access to anything but the airport. However, it's super easy to get to the train station and then a half hour ride to Victoria Station. Or, like I chose to do on the second day, a half hour train ride to various points on or near the southern coast like Brighton.

Pros:Spotlessly clean rooms, wide variety of food in restaurant, good deals in bar. Close to air terminals. Always a good price. And this time the best thing was we had a walk in shower!
Cons:Lifts are a pain - mainly because hotel is busy

Pros:Superb staff that speeds everyone through the check in process...super clean hotel and rooms...Deep Tubs perfect for real bathing...tea makers, but no in room fridges.
Cons:No fridges in rooms, poor tv channel selection....should have option for room service...need gym.

Pros:I loved the location at the North Terminal. It was very convenient to access by the airport's free train shuttle between terminals. I thought the price of the room was very reasonable for an airport hotel. The cafe/bar and restaurant were reasonably priced, took credit cards for payment (so I didn't have to change money for a short stay), and had good food (especially the restaurant). Free WiFi was available. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean and had supplies for hot drinks.
Cons:10 pound early check-in fee was unexpected extra charge if I wanted to leave my luggage (not access my room) and go into London for the day. The free WiFi seemed to require a reconnect click every time (which I finally figured out) and sometimes would disconnect mid-session. I had trouble finding the "shuttle" from the South to North Terminal as I was looking for a bus shuttle rather than the train shuttle. There are two Premium Inns at Gatwick and I was unsure at which location I had reservations.

Pros:The travel plan was to fly into Gatwick in the evening and to fly out of Heathrow the next day. I picked the hotel for its ideal location. The hotel location is steps from the Gatwick north terminal on arrival. Check in was quick with the attentive staff. The restaurant on location has a good selection of dishes and the breakfast was substantial. It is a good choice to stay overnight to make connecting flights.

Pros:Just a couple of minutes' walk from Gatwick's North Terminal this sizeable hotel couldn't be more convenient. Having checked-in on line, I just collected my receipt and keys from one of the machines at reception and was quickly on my way to a very clean, comfortable room. We had pre-purchased a meal deal (a 2-course dinner, drink and breakfast) for less than £25 a head, which was great value. The bar and restaurant was very busy when we dropped in at around 6pm but with plenty of friendly, polite staff service was surprisingly prompt. Dinner was delicious and served at just the right pace. Breakfast offered an extensive fresh buffet, but poached eggs and other dishes were also available to order from the kitchen. A great start to the day.
