Everything in this hotel is “thin”. The door is thin, can hear anyone out in the hall. The sheets and bedding are thin (I had the heat on overnight and was still cold). The sound insulation is really poor. You can find a better value for your $$.
The hallway of the hotel, the floor was very dirty, and the hallway look old and ugly. Inside the room, the carpet and chairs had stain. The lobby and the restaurant was very pretty.
Pros:Quiet and in a good location. They also are enforcing mask-wearing in the lobby which is much appreciated.

Pros:Room was larger than average, clean, quiet, the amenities were better than advertised.

Cons:I originally picked this hotel because of the bar and restaurant but it was being renovated when we got there.
Cons:The mattress was lumpy making a lousy night's sleep and the pillows were like rocks. This king size mattress needs to be replaced ASAP!. This was room 369!
Pros:This is an older hotel that doesn't show it's age. The rooms are very spacious unlike others where you can hardly walk around in the room. The grounds have a pool and a jacuzzi but not in the same location. The jacuzzi is more secluded so it is geared more towards an adult quiet time for relaxation. Didn't get to use it, but there is a putting green on the property. Nice touch that you won't find at most hotels. The price is very reasonable and I will book a room here again! Top it off with a complimentary breakfast that is not just a continental breakfast, and you have the best bang for your buck in Fresno!

Cons:heating system was down. caught a bad cold that night not turning on heat for a month into cold season breakfast room is small
Pros:The staff was excellent, personable and nice and gave very appropriate recommendations about where to eat/drink in the neighborhood. Hot tub was nice and clean, and our room was very quiet and overall it felt clean despite being a bit outdated.
Cons:The room was large, but felt kind of shabby with plastic-y mirror frames, outdated bathroom fixtures that were very 1980's. Hallway smelled heavily of old cigarettes. It would have been a bummer if we were there for vacation-- but since it was more of a business trip it was not totally disappointing. Another bummer was that the hotel bar, Oliver's Pub, is closed for renovations until spring 2016-- I did not realize this beforehand, and this amenity was a main reason why I chose this hotel.
