Pros:The layout and room itself was great! An in suite washer and dryer, kitchen with stove, oven, washing machines, and some dishes to cook with. There was a patio just outside the back door and pool that just happened to not be open during our trip just around the corner. It was a short walk to the beach (literally across a small street). And, the location was smack dab in the middle of Destin, so everything was within a 15 minute drive. (Also, Uber is present out there to pick you up from the bars)
Cons:The only thing that killed my impression on this place was the cleanliness of it. For starters, all of the tiled floor was sticky, like they used the same mop to clean up a mess then spread it across all of the floors. When I got something on a wall while cooking, the spot I cleaned with a rag ended up cleaner than the walls around it. Towels were stained, and the dishes all needed to be cleaned before use. Lastly, you could tell that whoever cleaned the unit, didn't look above their normal sight line, as anything above about 5'2" hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. Such a bummer.
