Pros:The staff member was nice and once we were able to finally see someoneCons:The rental system needs to be cleaner, having an individual walk out to the car is rather slow since then you loose a agent and leave people waiting way to long (we waited an hour and a half.Reviewed 25 Aug 2019

Great customer service! Different idea of an "SUV"Pros:The man at the rental counter was friendly, patient and generally great. He took his time with us and went above and beyond to help us. He was really wonderful to deal with.Cons:What we reserved (and the photos that explained what we had reserved) looked very different from what we got. car troublesPros:comfortable ford focus. they have a free shuttle service from their main location.Cons:the car had mechanical problems almost immediately which got worse over the trip and eventually had to be towed and replaced. We had to press to get a day refunded which they did eventually. it was a dangerous situation on a brand new car. Lucky I wasn't hit. they did rectify it fairly promptly.Reviewed 11 Apr 2017

did not pick up the car at allCons:We could not pick up the car. We arrived at KEF airport and Dollar told us to go to Reykjavik city location to pick up the car. It was Xmas season and not all locations were open.Reviewed 30 Dec 2016

Great help to jet-lagged travel stupid travellerPros:They were extremely helpful and accommodating after I locked my keyless fob in the car at 5am on the way to the airport with my suitcase in the trunk. They went out of their way to try to find the best and cheapest way to ship it to my next location and then when it turned out I wasn't able to ship it without taking some things out of the suitcase they agreed to hold it for me free of charge since I was flying back through Iceland and asked which of their locations would be the most convenient for me. They always responded quickly and were very fair with their charges.Reviewed 11 Nov 2016

Not same carCons:Reserved a bus for a big group and they tried to switch it and give us a station wagon. Took over an hour and a half to get the bus because they said it was being cleaned. It was very unorganized and they also made us pay the difference for upsizing even though we originally reserved the bus. Will find a different company in Reykjavik next time.Reviewed 12 Sep 2016
